📗Double-Drive-Time policy:

California law (CPUC Maximum Rate Tariff 4, Item 36.1) requires moving companies to charge double-drive time if the distance from the origin to the destination exceeds 10 miles. For example, if the team spends 30 minutes driving from your pick-up to drop-off, you will be billed for 1 hour. We don't charge for driving before pick-up or after drop-off.

Packing/Unpacking and Furniture assembly/disassembly as stand-alone services are charged at the same hourly rates.

Long Distance Moving Rates

Moves over 300 miles far are considered Long-Distance and charged at a flat price

The flat price includes everything you might need for your move

Please note that automated quotes give a rate for one truck of up to 26 ft and do not consider extra-heavy and extra-large items which are charged separately. There will be an extra charge for any additional trucks or a 36 ft trailer. The automated quote's purpose is to provide you with a general idea of how much your move might cost. The final flat price is determined after a free on-site or virtual estimate.
